Neuroflex

Originally inspired by work done with NASA astronauts returning from space, NeuroFlex® was developed over 30 years of research by Professor Mimi Galiana (McGill University) to precisely measure the function of the vestibular and ocular systems — key indicators of brain health.

Unlike more severe traumatic brain injuries (TBIs), mild TBIs (mTBIs) often leave no visible trace on standard scans, yet they can cause disruptions in brain function. NeuroFlex® detects these impairments using medical-grade Virtual Reality tests that generate objective, precise and actionable data on the brain’s vestibular ocular motor system

Used globally in elite sport — including by FIFA, SA Rugby, English County Cricket, Formula 1, Elite Cyclists and Golfers — NeuroFlex® is also committed to accessibility of this technology to sports clubs, schools, and community organisations.

As a proud technology partner of the Brain Health Trust, NeuroFlex® helps advance concussion care, education, and enable equitable access to cutting-edge brain health tools across South Africa.
